In order for you to upload an image into your profile, a resizing might need to take place to fit the 100KB size restriction
If you are familiar with photo editing, then this should be a breeze. But, if you are not familiar with photo editing, don't worry it is simple.
First, if you own a photo editing program, feel free to use that, if you don't, our suggestion would be Irfanview.

Irfanview is a photo customizing program that is free to download, simple to use and extremely user friendly.
After downloading Irfanview simply open up the program (a shortcut to Irfanview should have been made on your desktop) and then go to "File" located in the top left corner of the screen, and then click on "Open"

Next, find the photo that you wish to edit by browsing for it on your hard drive. After you found the photo, click "Open"

NOTE:
A preview of the image that is selected is previewed at the bottom of the import window.

First, what you should to is resize the image. Doing this will decrease the file size dramatically without affecting the quality of the picture that much.
To do this click on "Image" on the upper tool bar and then click on "Resize/Resample"

Once you have clicked "Resize/Resample" a pop up window will open with options on how to resize your image.
The options my seem overwhelming, but your best bet is to select the smallest option, "640X480"

If resizing the dimensions of the picture still doesn't make the picture's file size the appropriate size to be uploaded, you might want to change the pictures overall quality.

To do this, go to "File" located in the upper right of the tool bar, scroll down, and then click on "Save as..."

1) In order for you to be able to adjust the quality of a picture, the picture must be an JPG format. To change the format of your picture, click the drop down arrow, and then click on
"JPG - JPG/JPEG Format"

2) Move the scroller to the left to decrease the quality. If you move the scroller to far, the picture will look bad, so we recommend 80
3) Lastly, click "Save"

There you have it! A quick, easy, and painless way of resizing your pictures.
